Top-Down Market Research, LLC is a company dedicated to helping investors attain greater profits from their stock and mutual fund investments. In 1990, the company’s founder, Michael Henry, began investigating the use of artificial intelligence and its ability to forecast the financial markets. While working by day as an aerospace engineer at NASA developing hardware for Space Shuttle experiments and Aero-Propulsion test hardware, Michael spent his evenings creating computer programs that could learn on their own how to predict future price moves in the financial markets. It took 8 years for Michael to create the databases and develop and test the proprietary AI based systems. In July of 1999, the first online edition of the AI Stock Forecast was published. Each month since then, the AI computer models are run to generate the latest stock market forecasts and the results are published onto this website.
