Dan Wiener received a Bachelors of Science degree from Tufts University. He is the editor of the monthly newsletter, The Independent Adviser for Vanguard Investors, that delivers information about the recent developments at Vanguard. He also is the editor and author of the annual FFSA Independent Guide to the Vanguard Funds. Through these publications, he assists tens of thousands of investors to choose the right mutual fund. Wiener has decades of experience in crafting portfolios. In 1994 he co-founded Adviser Investments where he is now chairman and CEO. His work has been featured in The Wall Street Journal, Forbes, and Barron’s. He can be seen on CNBC, Bloomberg Television and PBS. He has also written and given his insight about personal finance in Fortune Magazine and U.S. News & World Report. He has won the Newsletter Publishers Foundation’s editorial excellence award five times. He spent several years on the board of the Bedford-Stuyvesant YMCA. Now Wiener serves on the investment committee of an arts and music non-profit, BRIC.
