Alex Koyfman

Koyfman immigrated from Soviet Russia to the United States with his family towards the closing of the Cold War in the 1980s. He obtained a bachelor’s degree from the University of Maryland and a JD from Penn State. While attending law school at Penn State, Koyfman traded IPO’d Vmware stock to create a six-figure gain. Since early 2002, Koyfman has actively involved himself in stock trading. His first significant trade was off the WorldCom stock, in which he made six figures by buying shares at a low of 7 cents and selling at 35 cents. The WorldCom stock ignited his enthusiasm for microcap companies and technology investing. Deciding to leave the legal industry, Koyfman began a career in stock trading in 2009. For two years he ran a weekly financial blog of his own which had over 100,000 readers and subscribers. This financial writing led to the creation of the successful Penny Stock Millionaire newsletter that focused on microcaps. His business travels around the world have shaped his theories and ideas about stocks, and he has created a unique de-risking method and scientific approach to stock trading. Koyfman is now an editor at Wealth Daily and is an investment director at Penny Stock Millionaire.
